RARE 1850s French Jean Gille Fine Porcelain Vases Hand Painted Romanticism NR For Sale

This is a stunning pair of French porcelain vases. A matched pair manufactured Circa 1840-1860 in Rue De Paradis in Paris France at the Jean Giles porcelain factory. Made of very fine thin walled delicate Bisque porcelain. Almost Eggshell like. They are both footed with round foot and short stem. Gorgeous forms to them. Each are hand painted exquisitely with various floral decorations & such along with two figures one male and one female. A beautiful example of French Romanticism. Each marked on the bottom with the JG stamped markings. They measure approx. 12\" tall by about 4\" in diameter.
