Up for sale with is a Rare 1924 Art Deco Sterling Silver Horse Racing Trophy Cup Vase. The Vase is of a wonderful Art Deco Period form with great raised Handles and Laurel Wreaths on each. The Vase is fully inscribed Purity Ice Cream Cup 2.14 Pace Won by Driven by Malone N.Y. 1924. As you can see no names were ever actually inscribed which makes it quite interesting. The Vase is in very good condition for the age with some light dint marks that I am sure could be smoothed out and no cracks, holes or repairs. The Vase displays beautifully standing 11-1/4" tall by 5" wide. The Vase is also nice thick Sterling throughout with a quality weight of 333 grams. The Trophy is marked on the bottom for the fine American Silver firm of Wallace. This is sure to be a prized addition to any Sterling, Ice Cream or Horse Racing collection.

We make great effort to accurately describe each item listed. Returns are accepted, if either condition, country of origin or dating we stateis significantly incorrect. In such cases we refund your shipping costs as well. Like you, we are only human, and make mistakes. Hopefully, not too many. But remember, the items you see are antiques. Hence, have an expected amount of wear from normal use. As such, returning an item because we failed to mention the tiniest bit of wear, or barely discernible flaw is not acceptable. Nor do we accept returns based on buyer's remorse, change of taste, or because a buyer did not realize how "small" four inches might be once in hand. Any Item or Lot Sold "AsIs" is not elligible for Return or Partial Refund, no exceptions. Also all returns must beposted within14 days of delivery confirmation.
