You rarely see this little beauty in any condition. Chances are if you have seen one for sale, it was this one. It was manufactured in 1954 by Louis Marx. Friction car with electric headlights. It has a plastic body, rubber tires and a metal bottom. Shiny silver finish. You can see by the photos that it is in great condition. All hubs are present. The on off lever is what you see sticking through the right side of the windshield. This is by design. There are paint defects on this that occurred at the factory. There are a couple of losses where you stretch the body apart to release the tabs and put in the battery. I did not put a battery in to see if it worked because of the age of the plastic and my fear that I could damage it. The bulbs are present in the headlight sockets. Appears to have never been played with.
The box is very good as well. End flaps are misshaped as well as corners with small tears. Front right side is pushed in some but not creased or torn. Overall toning.
