Randall Made Korean War Era Model 2 Double Edge Knife. The knife was used in the Korean War. The knife has an OAL of 11-1/2” and featuring a 6-1/2" Carbon Steel blade length, the blade has the "RANDALL MADE, ORLANDO, FLA." Logo stamp, the tang is lightly engraved with initials but is hard to make out, could be “E R” and has 4 dots stamped on the tang, it has an all leather handle with five spacers in red white & blue/black at the #1 brass guard & three spacers in red, white & blue/black at the aluminum butt cap. It comes with a very high quality all leather tight stitched belt sheath with a fully functional keeper snap, the knife came with the two lighters, cap badge, patch, carborundum sharpening stone in its original box and ribbon bar with stars, one of the lighters is also in its original box that is embossed on the inside “Sunny Lighter”, the lighter is engraved on the front with the map of North & South Korea and Yaluriver-kaesong-38 DMZ-Seoul-Inchon-Kunsan-TaeJon- Taegu & Pusan, the bottom of the lighter is stamped “ABC – SUMMY- INCHON- KOREA”, the second lighter is engraved “MISAWA AIR BASE 6038th USAF HOSPITAL APO 919” and the reverse side has a Unit DI Crest of the “6038th USAF HOSPITAL”. This is a Nice Grouping from the Korean War !
