SHERIDAN 5MM /.20 CAL. LEAD AIR RIFLE PELLETS: STEEL TIN w/ RED TOP & PRINT, VGC For Sale

Vintage & scarce, early \"SHERIDAN BANTAM 5\'s\" PELLET TIN w/ Original 5mm Pellets, still in very good overall condition and quite suitable for your display, this old school, red top SHERIDAN BANTAM 5\'s TIN measures about 2\" high by approx. 2\" in dia. and was designed to hold 500 rounds of the original SHERIDAN proprietary cylindrical pellets with solid slug design having straight walls, rounded nose, and a belted \"drive band\" around concave base to engage the barrel\'s rifling. These were used in all of the Sheridan \"Model A\" Super Grade Rifles, \"Model B\" Sporter Rifles, and the more powerful & streamlined \"Model C\" Sporter Rifles as well. Front of the \"SHERIDAN BANTAM 5\'s AMMUNITION\" TIN is clearly marked in brick red lettering on white outline over the photo-lithograph background of 5mm Pellets of course. Sides are mainly photo covered, the left having the old style \"side-seam\" as shown, and the back side clearly reading \"5mm/Caliber\" as well.(See Photos) The overall exterior surface remains in fairly good overall condition except for dark spots on lower edge & lid... but that\'s about it! A scarce & unusual red lid & front print SHERIDAN TIN, with about all of the original 5mm Pellets still inside, and we\'d guess this SHERIDAN BANTAM 5\'s PELLET TIN belongs on display by now, but we\'ll leave that to the buyer. Actual weight is about one (1) pound, just as shown here.
