STOCK KRAG RIFLE 1892 1896 US SPRINGFIELD 30-40 FULL LENGTH For Sale

You are offerding on a US Springfield Krag stock. This is a full length walnut stock and is 46inches long. It originally started as an1892 Model with the cleaning rod under the barrel. The stock has been modified by filling in thecleaning rod hole and cut in the underside of the stock. The stock also retains the metal cleaningrod stop as pictured. It is marked onthe left LLA 1896. There is a P proof onthe wrist and either number or letters stamped above the P. There are scratches on the P proof and it hasding and dents. The small piece of woodto the right of the bolt cutout has come off and was reattached. There is a 2 ½ inch scratch on the right sidebutt stock. The stock has small scratchesand dents but no cracks.
