Stunning Aqua Blue Flower Frog with Turtle by Van Briggle Art Pottery SignedThis very unusual flower frog brings nature and pottery together in a breathtaking design by Van Briggle.The frog base is designed as an irregularly shaped rock formation on which the turtle is crawling. The turtle is raised on its front legs with head extended from the shell. As an addition, the tail is large and exposed. On the opposite end of the base is what appears to be a water lily embossed in relief.The relief is very crisp by Van Briggle standards.There are sixteen holes for flowers.The bottom is signed Van Briggle, Colo Spgs, with the co-joined A\'s at the top.The frog measures: 5\" long X 4 1/2\" wide X 3\" tall.We attempt to describe our pieces as accurately and honestly as possible.
