This is a superb pair of Samson, France male & female figurines with the intricate detailing of which:

During our research we have been informed they certainlydate from the 19th century.

Date about c1880.

Samson marks to the bases at the rears.

A pair of Samson male & female figurines with the intricate detailing.

Male dressed in the wonderful attire with the female in similar attire.

Both holding flowers.

Further intricate flowersto the base with the wide bocage to the rears with intricate flowers.

Porcelain.

Mounted onto the decorative bases with the gilt & other coloured decoration.

Each has an overall height of about 8.25inches.

Bases with overall sizes of about 3.75 x 3.5inches.

Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition to the both figures is excellent and the only blemish is:

chipping & nibbling to the wide bocage and intricate flowers.
