Scarce Pre-Pro Rising Sun Brewing Co. Elizabeth NJ Beer Serving Tray Stunning For Sale

An early and scarce pre prohibition era tin beer advertising serving tray. This 12\" diameter tray advertises for the Rising Sun Brewing Co. of Elizabeth NJ. The Brewery operated from 1887-1920 and one year after repeal 1933. This tray was made by: Kaufmann & Strauss Co. of NY. This tray is stunning to look at. The graphics and colors are amazing. Truly a tin lithography work of art! This is a super nice example as shown in the photos. The surface is excellent with the expected crazing from age and a tiny mark or two. The gold colored inside rim has some scattered non detracting wear also as shown. The tray shows a Victorian woman with flowing hair and stars in her lap sitting in a crescent moon holding a glass of beer. The image is set against the backdrop of a cloudy night sky. One of the nicest pre pro trays I have ever owned. This one displays nicely and looks even better in person. I took several quality photos of the tray to tray and capture condition and detail.
