Superb M1885 U.S.Army Artillery Dress Coat for Enlistedman Ided to 6th Artillery:
$434.00

Here is an exceptional example of the U.S. Army's late Indian Waruniform for enlistedmen, the M-1885 Dress Coat. This one is for the branch of Artillery. Has typical Horstmann of Philadelphia back marked federal eagle buttons. Made of dark blue wool with red panels and trim. This coat is in very fine condition inside and out. The original soldier carefully stenciled his name and unit inside several times. Issued and belonged to one John B. Klee of Battery "F" , 6th U.S. Artillery. A search on Ancestry.com's records taken from the national archives reviel that John Klee served from 1898 to 1902 in the U.S. Army. Served first with the 6th U.S. Artillery for two yearsandtwo yearswith the 3rd U.S. Cavalry. The 3rd saw significant action in the Philippines prior to 1902 and during the time he was with theregiment.Coat is pretty much excellent with no moth holes or repairs. All seams tight. I purchased this from Walter Budd a few years ago. My interests have changed so it is time to move it to someone who will appreciate for as I have. Guranteed forever as original. Thanks for looking. From my collection.

Offered at low opening offer of $9.99 with . 5 day sale. Payment to be remitted within 3 days.
