Click to View Image Album From a local estate comes this set of 13 Gem Clay Company Tarzan figurines or figures that were originally a premium for the radio and television show Tarzan sponsored by Foulds Macaroni and Egg Noodle Company.From what we have read, these figures were available in exchange for box tops sent in as an incentive to buy some good Foulds Macaroni.
These were sold unpainted and you could also get paints and a brush from the company just by sending in boxtops.
All but one of these was painted years ago by the previous owner.The only figure with a significant flaw is Tarmangini, the cannibal. He displays fine but has a big crack that runs down his back. It would be very carefully packed but cannot promise it might not break in shipping. Other than that all are in pretty decent condition for their age and initial use.Figures include: Tarzan, painted, slightly smaller Tarzan unpainted, Kala - the mother ape, Jane Porter - the girl,
