U. S. M 1903 Springfield Stock Cut For Spare Parts Container For Sale

This is an early M 1903 Springfield stock with the cut for the spare parts container, it is in good condition however it has been rebuilt at least twice once during WW I and again in WW II. The WW I rebuild involved reinforcing the wrist with brass pins, replacing a piece of wood at the bottom of the magazine well and reinforcing it with pins, also a piece of wood was replaced oxn the right side near the chamber. The WW II repairs incolved filling various dents and gouges. During these rebuilds it was sanded more than once so there are no markings. This battle scared old veteran is now looking for a for ever home to retire to.No international Sales
