For sale on with is this Victorian Staffordshire pottery Home Brewed Ale toby also known as the Landlord toby jug, advertising Home Brewed Ale on the barrel. Sampson & Smith is said to have made this model between circa 1851 - 1890. The toby jug measures approximately slightly under 10 inches = 25.4 cm in height .
CONDITION
There\'s the usual crazing to glaze thats associated with genuine Staffordshire pottery & not detriment to the jug also some flaking to the enamel decoration & a slight bruise on the right hand side of the jug please, study photos carefully before offerding.
