You know all about this receiver or you would not be looking at this listing.
Cosmetically it has LOTS of patina. The rack case (original) should be sandblasted and painted.The front panel cold be touched up to preserve the bulk of the original finish, which overall is not too bad.
The chassis is average for this age.I tried to give you photos representative of the chassis condition.
There are no holes that it did not start out with 80 years ago.We did a few things to it:
1) We cleaned the pots and switches.
2) We repaired a short in one IF can.
3) We did a rough alignment to get gain up. I was able to detect 100 microvolts signal.It can do better.
The BFO works too, as does the crystal filter and notch filter.
This is sold as a restoration project beyond what I did above. Since most of the \"iron\" and other special parts areimpossible-to-find, I wanted to repair it to the point at which I could assure you that all the impossible-to-find parts are good.
