Vintage 1960\'s Destination Moon Model 1000 Bank by Duro Mold Mfg. w/Box & Key For Sale

Vintage Chrome Metal Mechanical \"DESTINATION MOON BANK MODEL 1000\" by Duro Mold Mfg. Detroit 34 Mich. U.S.A. This bank was given out by banks to kids to promote savings at their bank. This bank label reads \"ROCHESTER SAVINGS BANK\" founded 1831. Label has minor wear overall great condition. Banks works as it was designed by cocking down spring mechanism on the side of the rocket then placing coin in holder and then pressing button on base and coin shoots into the moon. To remove coins take the original key and remove round disk on the moon see pictures. Also has the original box that has a little tear and crushed area on one side. Box reads Duro\'s Destination Moon Bank An Action Coin Bank. Hard to find this bank with Chrome finish that does have minor wear for age with aqua ring around moon plus original key and box that are usually missing.
