Vintage 1963 Fender 6G12-A Brownface Concert Amp Chassis For Sale

For sale: A 1963 Fender Concert 4x10 amp chassis. This sale is for the chassis and chassis straps only. Nothing else is included. The amp works great, it has been serviced (previous to my ownership) and had some parts replaced for maintenance purposes. The work was done well and Spragues used as replacement caps. Has Sovtek tubes throughout. The cord is a two prong type and is connected to a ground switch. This should be changed for the sake of safety to a three prong cord. The vibrato on this amp is terrific sounding. The amp starts breaking up around 5 on the volume if you use humbuckers, it stays clean longer with a single coil of course. The amp has a nice warm tone and I personally love the way it breaks up with humbuckers. The amp does have a replaced power transformer. The choke and output transformers are original. The input jack labeled \"1\" on the normal channel has been replaced. The brown presence knob has been replaced. The face plate has been bent a bit left of the normal channel inputs.

The output transformer is designed for a 2 ohm load. You can use a 4 ohm cabinet safely as well.
