An old 1970\'s Fender Precision Bass body. Alder. Weighs 4 pounds, 14 oz. Originally sunburst. Stripped down to the original sealcoat, so it\'s a natural finish right now. Original factory inspection stamp marks in the neck pocket.
It has been sanded in a lot of strange spots, most noticeably on the lower curve (six-o-clock position in pic #1). This was filled in with some wood filler, but could use some more. As it is now, it will go right up to the edge of the pickguard,
It was also over-sanded in the treble cutout, unevenly on the front side of the body. There is also minor sanding on the bass cutout and along the top (12 o-clock position in pic #1).
there are numerous filled holes on the front of the body. Also, numerous dings and scratches.
The good news is that the pickup cavity is not molested, and there are no battery compartments or extra routes for a jazz bass pickup. This is a nice piece of old wood that would make a great P-bass project. I\'m over extended with projects right now so I\'m letting it go. Buyer pays $20 shipping. International shipping will be about $40-60. -Fred.
