Up for offer is one used \"Abercrombie & Fitch Co.\" Metal Fishing Tackle Box. This box measures 12-3/8\" long, 8-5/16\" wide, and 4-7/8\" high. Inside there is a removable box on top of a removable tray 10-3/8\" long, 2-5/8\" wide, and 1-5/8\" high. This small box has 6 compartments, twoabout 2-1/8\" wide, two about 1-5/8\", and two about 1-1/8\" for lures, hooks, floats, flies, and sinkers. The tray below has two compartments about 10-1/4\" by 1-1/4\" wide. The main box has six compartments about 4\" high, for reels and other larger items. The lock is inscribed with \"EAGLE LOCK CO., TERRYVILLE, CT., U.S.A.\". There is no key. The latch works, leather handle is in fair condition with some cracking present. The paint is in fair condition, with numerous scratches and some rust at corners (see photos).
On the underside of the cover there is a stenciled name ABERCROMBIE & FITCH CO., NEW YORK\", with the \'&\' and \'F\' damaged. This would be a great box to display a collection of antique lures.
