Up for sale is a vintage/antique original Singer child\'s real sewing machine Model No. 20. Dated 1922.Works! but is in vintage used condition.* Includes original instruction booklet, original heavy metal clamp, & thread on wooden spool.* 8 page booklet with parts diagram and threading instructions.* 6\" wide, 7 1/4\" wide with wooden handle. 6 1/2\" tall.* Chain stitch machine intended for children but is also a working sewing machine.* Black cast iron machine & clamp. Original clamp not a new.* End turn wheel has 2 silver arrows and 7 open slots. Wooden handle.* Wheel turns and needle moves up and down. No other testing was done.* One side has \"Singer\" and other side has gold emblem The Singer Manfg Co Trade Mark logo.
CONDITION: Clean but can use cleaning in little tight areas.Has dust, dings, dents, and normal signs of age. Otherwise has no apparent damage or repairs. Good shine on cloth plate with some spotting. Some metal parts have light spotting. Wheel edge is dulled a bit. Bottom green felt is quite torn up and needs replaced.All parts on machine appear to be here according to diagram in booklet.Booklet has new tear on top edge from me. Sorry.From non smoking am no expert (but am trying!!) and describe to the best of my ability. I have included a detailed description and plenty of pictures. If you think of something please ask.
