The headstall attaches to the bit with RAWHIDE BUTTONS..Sliders and just decoration! .. the REINS are ROPING REINS withROMAL and leather POPPERS .. the poppershave been chewed on by a horse and could be replaced or left as they are .. I left it ALL ORIGINAL .. UN CLEANED ..the reins and headstallneedcleaningyettheyare SOFTand PLIABLE ..Snaps on the rein ends .. oxidation which is normal for age .. quite a unique set .. FULL HORSE SIZE .. fully adjustable ..VERY USEABLE .. a real standout
