Vintage Ludwig Gold Sparkle Marching/Field Snare Shell

This would be a great Floor Tom, Snom, or Mini-Kick conversion candidate!

Measures 12” x 15”

3-ply, Maple/Poplar/Maple construction w/Maple re-rings.

Factory drilled for Ludwig Modern High Tension (aka \"Long Classic\") lugs. That’s 2 3/16” hole spacing, with a 2 3/4” space between the middle holes.

Great condition, overall. Has the normal wear & tear one might expect of a 45 year old drum. It would definitely benefit from a good polish, though.

It does have a fewminor flaws (see pics):

• Badge is in poor shape (1976 serial #)
• The wrap is lifting a bit at the seam (easy fix).
• There is a 4” section where the re-ring is separating from the shell (easy fix, as well).
• The top hole for the strainer has been partially re-drilled.
• It has been non-factory drilled for a Ludwig Classic Tom mount. That\'s a 1 7/8” hole spacing.
