Vintage Metlox Pinocchio Cookie Jar Ceramic Circa 1940s For Sale

This is a Pinocchio cookie jar made by Metlox in the 1940s. The band on the hat that was originally red has been painted over and is now black. The black has a few wear spots that need to be touched up with cold paint. There is a chip to the interior rim that is shallow and about a half inch long. The green bow tie has some white green shading but that was done at the factory and is under the glaze. Everything is really rather pristine about this jar, no cracks or crazing, just that one small chip on the interior rim. Any questions please email.
