You are offerding on a Vintage PENN Mariner No. 49 Conventional Saltwater Fishing Reel. It is in Very Good Cosmetic and Functional Shapeand a very solid reel. The crank and star has some brass rash but both in good solid shape still. The seat, rings, posts, and lever has some lite wear some scratches, lite brassing but all still very good shape. The spool is in excellent shape is the lightweight aluminum spool and sits and spins great. The plates some normal surface wear but in good solid shape. The super-sized and zoom-able pictures are of the reel which show it for your close inspection.

This Mariner No. 49 works well and ready to fish. It cranks well with nice click, and nice solid anti-reverse and also good silent forward-reverse mode as well with good working anti-reverse lever. Freespool lever works well and kicks in gear nicely with a very good freespool mode. Drag works all smooth strong and variable and has a well working clicker and loud alerting bait clicker. A very good looking and working reel ready to fish or collect alike.
