Vintage Singer Featherweight 221J 221 J TAN Sewing Machine W/ Case & Attachments For Sale

This isa VERYniceTAN vintage Singer Featherweight 221J sewing machine. It is a portable sewing machine and is tan in color. Ithas a number on bottom JE158219. When I plugged it in it seems to work correctly although I am not a sewing machine user. I am not sure the exact age of this but I believe it is from the early 1960\'s. There may be some light wear, however this item overall is in very good shape.The main issues are: I find some light scratches on the part that folds down (see picture) , some paint loss on the front part of the top of the light and the cord has damage on one part where it looks like someone pinched it. You can see part of the wire at the edges where it was pinched. You could either tape it, or cut is and shorten it 6\" and reattach it - no big deal.It also hasabooklet (for the K5 model not this J- very similar) and some attachments see the pictures. Also included is the case, which has damage inside, (see pictures) and the fabric is coming loose on back and near the bottom edge of the tan partwhich seems to be typical of these, I did not try to re-glue it I will leave that to you experts if you wish to do it. IT REALLY IS NOT AS BAD AS I MAKE IT SOUND - please see pictures! Excellent addition to any collection.
