Vintage T.N. Bavent Faience Pottery Pig Normandy France Majolica Earthenware For Sale

Up for sale is a vintage French pottery pig manufactured by Bavent of Normandie. Pig is made of faience earthenware and has a milky white glaze with terra cotta hooves and black eyes. It measures approximately 4 1/4 inches tall, 5 3/4 inches long, and a width of 3 inches. It weighs about 1 lb. Piece is marked along the base, as seen in the photographs, \'Bavent Made in France\' next to the maker\'s mark \'T.N.\' Piece does not have any chips, cracks, breaks. The base is rather crude and rough.

Pieces were lightly cleaned before being photographed. You may wish to have them professionally cleaned.
