Vintage \"The Peerless\" open back 5 string Banjo - For Parts or Repair For Sale

This sale is for a VINTAGE \"THE PEERLESS\" OPEN BACK 5 STRING BANJO - FOR PARTS OR REPAIR - USA. Says on the back neck brace section: The Peerless, The peerless, P.W. Denzel - Maker - Chicago. Has inlay star on front of headstock. Has 21 frets, 3 inlay on neck/fingerboard. Nut looks original, but end is off (see photo). Has 24 lugs around the head. The head measures aprox. 11 7/8\" in Diam. It has 2 tuners, looks to me original. There is wood missing on top backof headstock (see photo) and worn area behind the neck, from use. From top of headstock to end of head rim it measures aprox. 36\" long. The neck is loose from head (see photo). What you see in the pictures, is what you get.
