Vintage Volkswagen Van 1960 Dealer Promo Wiking Germany Truck Toys Cars w/ Box For Sale

This sale is for a collectible vintage 1960\'s Wikingis 4-1/8\" long and 2\" wide and 2\" highVolkswagen Vw Van ExportWiking TruckDealer Promotional infair condition (in my opinion) because the original box has a torn tab and the front of the van has a broken tip (see picture). We do not have the missing part. Also, the right front window has a frame separation at the windshield area (see picture). There are no missing pieces where the separation is located. The lower body is complete without cracks. It contains 5 passengers and one driver. My father purchased these from the dealer approximately 50 years ago. He had them boxed up and forgot about them until a recent move.The Wiking Company (Germany) was commissioned by Volkswagen to produce detailed promotional 4 inch, 1/40 scale models of their line of cars and buses to be sold only through the Vw factory dealerships. Each year when the new car models were introduced, Wiking would update the promotional models. The Wiking models are so finely detailed, true to scale, and represent the real cars faithfully.
