Vtg 60s Mid Century Space Age Orbita 9.5 Acrylic Cube Clock Sculpture Prisma Era For Sale

Up for sale is an original vintage mid 20th century modern Orbita 9.5 trippy optic clock sculpture designed by George Ladas for Rathcon Inc. Dates to circa 1967. Features three round light bodies orbiting each other in a spatial field. The Orbita timepiece can be found in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art. Clock needs a service to work. When it is plugged in, it does not light up. Light surface wear, scuff marks/scratches, missing one rubber foot on the bottom. Please see photos carefully for details. Measures about 9 1/2\" cube and weighs 8 lbs unpacked. Fresh out of a fine old estate!
