Weymann 5-string banjo neck, vintage banjo parts for repair For Sale

Here\'s a Weymann five-string banjo neck, pretty early example, maybe from around 1910 or so... even has a little bit of S.S.Stewart vibe...would fit a banjo rim of about 11\" diameter, has a 26\" scale length. Some fret wear, but more finger-board wear, nothing excessive....neck is pretty straight. All original, except that some benighted individual possibly tried to fit it to a banjo with a resonator and had to trim the sides of the heel a little to fit into the resonator slot... instead of enlarging the resonator slot.... this is, of course, just conjecture, but it sounds plausible to me. The heel could easily be trimmed a little more and made quite presentable... this is where you get to test your neck-shaping skills. This neck could conceivably be made to fit, with a little effort, to any number of 11\" or so size rims... don\'t think you have to wait for the perfect Weymann rim to show up.
