And you know the effort involved in finding and revitalizing vintage radios, some of which were abused, some of which were highly treasured, but all of which were awaiting rescue. We will still offer for your consideration beautiful restored original tube type and early transistor broadcast radios. Every set is completely detailed from the interior cabinet to the exterior finish,knobs,dial,back cover chassisect. In most cases unless otherwise stated the cabinets are unmolested original Wood. By unmolested we mean NOT refinished wood,NOT coated Bakelite,NOT repainted unless otherwise noted in our description.The same attention will be given to the chassis,ALL components checked and replaced where needed,including all adjustments done with the proper test equipment and refined tuning for flawless optimum performance! Again, unless otherwise stated in the description!

Offered in this sale today is this real nice original fully restored Zenith clock radio model 5J03 mid century mfg. c-1952. This is a Deco beauty deepmaroonmarbled colored mid century radio with no dings,deep scratches, flaws notedin or onthe cabinet. There is a tiny scratch or two hardly noticed on the cabinet bottom with the factory label torn in spots,and some wear and repairs to the outer back cover that\'s it. Otherwise this radio is overall in gorgeous original condition in and out for this vintage.All clock functions working with a5 tubeac/dc chassis,tube saver option,and AM band only.The tube saver is nothing more than a inrush current limiter to extend tube life,as a result this set takes a bit longer to function (warm up) when the radio is first turned on!! The grill and brass trim dial and knobs give this radio a very modern mid century DECO facade. Stunning cabinet with a mirror-like unmolested finish. Original plastic clock and radio control knobs. Noscratching on the cabinet surface.The power cord is original and safe for use,with a clean chassis with minor surface rust spotting. Original working condition with strong mellow static free clean TUBE audio,big sound for a clock radio set. Fully bench tested and awaiting a new home or office!
