It is in very good condition with no tears or loose pages. The binding is strong and secure. The front and rear boards are flat and straight, but with bumped corners, which have been stabilized with archival glue. There is an “ex libris” sticker on the inside cover with the name “Philip T. Moore”. There is a faint inscription on the opposing page from his brother “Harvey Moore” and dated July 15, 1876, stating “A Birthday Present”; the inscription also mentions the name of a city, “Niles”. The pages are mildly yellowed with sparse, random stains and minor foxing.”
