lovely American Tintype photo of baby girl with large antique china head doll For Sale

Spectacular antique circa 1870 antique tintype of a baby girl with her large china head doll. Tintype is American. Baby moved slightly, hence the blur. Doll is in crystal clear focus. We can easily see her German china head, rosy cheeks and features, charming calico cotton dress (we can see the pattern easily) and crudely made, homemade body that has taken a bit of play for sure. It is an important, one of a kind tintype, authentic.(The back has an address label that was put in by the publisher of Doll World Magazine. This tintype was used in my column, Girls and Dolls of Yesteryear, around 1980 or 1981. The tintype had to be returned to me after it was used for publication. )This great tintype has been in my collection for more than 33 years. Measures 2 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches. Condition is good, lower left hand corner ever so slightly bent, .
