Catawba Valley Gary Mitchell Face Potter 12\" Gal Cobalt Blue Whiskey Jug MINT For Sale

Hey folks! Here we have a Cobalt Blue Gal Whiskey Jug made exactly the way they made these pots in the 18th century and made with Catawba Valley clay dug by Gary Mitchell in his own back yard!
Also has the GM...Gary Mitchell stamp, number 23 which signifies the 23rd firing of the wood kiln and the Catawba County NC seal! Measures 12\" Tall!There are a very few of the remaining wood fired jugs left and then they are all gone until the next burn!GM is the only potter that carries the Catawba Valley seal and paper thin walls which signify a skilled potter with years of experience!!
There is only one more of these wood fired jugs that I will be listing soon that has been fired in 2013 and 2014..After that we will have to wait until the 2015 Burning...I hope you all get to come to that one!!Next week look for a special run of mini face and double face jugs that Gary is making at this very moment!Gary Mitchell pieces are running rare to non existent until the next firing which may be late summer or early fall.
