Fine sterling silver Art Deco style makeup compact, circa 1930\'s. The exterior features an engraved line pattern that radiates out from a stunning bejewelled tiered 14 carat gold classic art deco design accent thumb piece. Set into this eye catching thumb piece are three beautiful, square, sparkling, cornflower blue sapphires. The decorative case lid opens to reveal the first compartment of the compact with the mirror intact but with a spattering of small black spots (seen in the photographs). The powder puff storage lid is engraved \"To Mother Love Mildred And Jacques 1948\". This section opens up to reveal the powder compartment, it is void of any powder and is quite clean. Inside the mirror case it is stamped TIFFANY & CO STERLING 14K near the top. The case is in good used vintage condition and is a sheer delight to hold in your hand. It could still function as it was originally intended or just be a beautiful objet d\'art.
