The featured item represents a genuine Australian didgeridoo music instrument crafted by local indigenous artist Karl Hardy. The piece is made of from a native Eucalyptus tree ( bloodwood ) that has been naturally hollowed out by termites over time and then hand crafted by indigenous artisans into a beautiful, playable unique instrument. It measures approximately 45 1/2" long and 2 1/4" in diameter. Signed with "Karl Hardy".

The didgeridoo is a wind instrument, played with continuously vibrating lips to produce a continuous drone while using a special breathing technique called circular breathing.Karl Hardy Bundjalung family is from the Armidale area in NSW. He is a accomplished didgeridoo player with a keen interest in history, his heritage is extremely important to him. Karl is a highly recognized artist with many examples of his canvas art in display in galleries through out Australia.The item comes in overall good condition for its age with normal vintage wear like small scuffs, marks and scratches here and there.
