Maker: It\'s indisputable: Limoges says quality. And T&V - Tressemann and Vogt - produced some of the world\'s finest and most beautiful Limoges porcelain.

Age: This elegant set of 11 lunch plates has two T&V marks: the green underglaze \"T&V Limoges France\" mark number 7, in use between 1892 and 1907, and the magenta bell decorator\'s mark number 16 that was in use between 1907 and 1919. Together they confirm that the set was produced and decorated by the T&V factory in 1907, the only year the marks overlap. Design: The pattern features clusters of delicate pink roses linked by a thin band and swags of green leaves.

Many of the great Limoges companies produced variations of the classic and hugely popular pattern of pink roses against a pure white background. That means these plates would easily blend into similar sets by other Limoges makers.

Condition: The plates are in overall excellent condition with no chips, cracks, nicks, marks, crazing or repairs. There are a few grey marks that were created in the manufacturing process and light wear to the gold edges. One plate has a chip on the edge - it\'s shown in the photos with the penny.

Size: The plates are 9 1/2 inches wide and together weigh 12 pounds 1 ounce.
