Each has pale aqua borders with white paint dots and heavy gold surrounding a hand-painted 18th century dressed courting couple scene. Each plate is different and each is artist signed. They are absolutely gorgeous. There are no cracks nor chips, we found a couple teeny white paint dots missing, and a couple with gold smudges but not missing, I am being extremely critical here. They are absolutely stunningly elegant and impressive on display. You are offerding on the set of 12, maker's printed and impressed marks on underside.
