15\" old vintage antique composition E.I.H Horsman character Baby Dimples Doll For Sale

UP FOR ADOPTION and a little \"TLC\" here is a vintage Horsman character Baby Dimples doll. Baby is in nice \"used\" played with condition measuring about 15\" tall. I do not know the past history, and or if any restoration was made, but will try to describe the best I can with any flaws. Reference tells me Horsman made these dolls from 1927 to 1930. Incised on back of head is \"EIH Co., Inc\". This is a composition flange head, hands with fingers intact, legs to above knee with cloth mama doll type body. \"Adorable\" character face with open and close blue tin sleepy eyes that work fine, painted lashes around eyes, worn brows and open mouth with two chunky upper teeth and molded tongue. Wonderful blush color with a little dimple in each cheek, I see very light if any crazing at all, a few light paint rubs on cheeks, a little built in old dirt throughout. She has painted molded orange hair. Some overall wear, non-working crier in the back of her mama doll type body. Looking at the legs possibly a little paint touch up, old built in dirt throughout, I notice a little sewing restoration where leg connects to the cloth body, this tell me the leg may have fallen off and was repaired, do not know the past history. \"Dimples\" wears a \"gorgeous\" long antique gown with ribbon and embroidery accents, it is clean with snaps down the back, some wear but charming and so old. There is a knit bonnet on her head. No undies, stockings or shoes. A doll stand is included.I have taken plenty of photos, please look at my photos as they will serve as part of this description.
