Antique, what I believe to be a \"NACH\" H.F. MEYER FLUTE. The name is still quite visible on the white/ivory. Also, below the name I can see the word \"HANNOVER\". This instrument must be very old by all appearances of the cast and the instrument itself. Because of the crack in the ivory; I will be listing it as a \"parts/restoration\" instrument sale. The firm of HEINRICH FRIEDRICH MEYER operated from 1848 until the early 20th century. Other that the crack on the ivory I don\'t detect any other chips, cracks, or anything missing, but be sure to look over the pictures carefully as they are a big part of the description. It appears as though no one ever tampered with the crack running the length of the ivory. One latch hook is missing on the case. Also, the cover is NOT attached. There is a \"LOCK SET\" for the case which I found quite unique. No key. Case about 14-1/2 x 5-1/4\" x 2\".
