Up for sale with is a Rare 1908 Arts & Crafts Period American Sterling Silver Tri Handle Loving Cup or Tyg Vase. The Cup is top quality throughout having been made by the Important American Silversmiths The Gorham Co. and having a Date Code of 1908. The Cup features amazing Arts and Crafts Period design including superb details to the handles and still showing some of the Gold Gilt interior. The Cup wasawarded as a Trophy in 1909and is nicely inscribed Brighton Country Club, Won by A.D. Miller III and then also inscribed on the other side Dorothy Crump Miller Christening October 7th 1913. The inscriptions add a nice provinance for the Cup but there is also a plain side if you prefer to display it that way. The Tyg Vase is in excellent all original condition with no dents, cracks or holes and displays very nicely measuring 4\" tall by 6\" wide across the handles or 4\" wide across the top. The Cup also shows it\'s amazing quality in the fact that it is extremely thick Sterling Silver with a hefty weight of270 grams. I see very little American Arts and Crafts Silver, I doubt you will find another fine example like this by such an important company, up for sale any time soon, let alone selling with !
