nice quality antique early 20th century lidded German beer stein.the pewter lid has a wonderful convex-shaped porcelain insert that is painted with a Bavarian looking building or Inn.The glass has the marking of .5 Literthe hinged pewter lid is mounted to a thick mold blown glass mug and is in excellent condition with no signs of chips or cracks.it measures 6 1/2 inches tall. Underside of lid is marked: MAY 1921The glass has a 3/8 inch scratch/scrape as seen in the photos
