1987 W/ BOX Royal Albert Wind In The Willows Tea Set Portly’s Return SEE INFO For Sale

PLEASE READ IN DETAIL. What an amazing find this is, an afternoon teaset by Royal Albert from 1987 with original box. The story of “The Wind in the Willows” is depicted on this three piece set in the scene “Portly’s Return” from the tale. Made in England, this bone china set from the late 80s co-ordinated collection of Royal Albert and Wind in the Willows is beautifully made. IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES - While original box is with it, it is not in perfect shape and does have tears and staining. Please see photos for detail. The teacup has a small chip at the bottom, but the rest of the set is free of chips. Interior of cup is nice, no crazing. All in all this is a special and rarer set that deserves delicate display to further preserve it. The chip off the bottom of the cup can be turned away and you would not be able to see it. Someone with talent for it may choose to repair the spot and recolor for their collection. Please see the photos for detail of it all. Please note the numbering on saucer and plate.
