DESCRIPTION:6Rare 1899 Harper\'s chapters as shown, part of a series that came out in 1899. Each chapter or part was issued with a heavy paper cover as shown. Parts include Parts 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 28.

Great text, with a large number and variety of photos of battleships and other boats, from the great white fleet, etc. A small sampling is shown in my scans. Great variety of shots. About 100 (oversized) pages in the 6 issues. Lots of content considering the OVERSIZED FORMAT OF THIS BOOK, measuring a whopping 12\" x 17\".

Without going into great detail, one great article w/photos on the USS MAINE AND ITS SINKING is covered in one of the issues.

Great photos, both number and variety, and also includes a full detailed text.

Some of the covers are loose, but pages and covers are otherwise in excellent condition.
