I am a member of the Musical Box Society International and have tested this with mechanism. It is quiet and precise.It appears as though it has never been used.
It measures 6-1/4” across, 3-1/8” from front to back and 2-1/2” high, including the key.
The smallest interior box size needed for comfortable use is: 7” across, 5” from front to back and 2-1/2” deep.
