Antique Civil War 9\" Celluloid Photograph Button Tin Cruver Mfg COLT Navy Pistol For Sale

Incredible antique civil war photograph of a Civil War soldier. The oval photo measures 2 1/2\" x 3 3/4\" and set in 9\" CRUVER MFG CO. button plaque. My knowledge of Civil War uniforms isn\'t good, so I don\'t know if He\'s a  Confederate or Union soldier. He does have insignia on his shoulder. NOT sure what\'s on his lap, but pretty sure he\'s holding a Colt Navy pistol. GREAT IMAGE! I think it\'s a memorial plaque.

Condition is excellent, as seen in photos. There may be some LIGHT scratches and a SMALL celluloid separation area on the edge seen in photo. Photograph is very crisp with some added color to his face. Also, easel back is missing.
