For sale in our store is a very cool piece of historical firefighting equipment \"Red Fire Pail\".
From the Winnipeg Firefighters Museum website: \"#17 Fire Buckets c.1920.These galvanized pails with a dome shaped bottom were used to hold water or sand in commercial or retail buildings. Usually hung on pillars, they were used as emergency fire extinguishers in the 1920\'s. The fire pail for sale is made of galvanized steel, painted fire engine red with a rounded bottom. The pail is marked \"GSW Fire Pail\" and \"Accepted by the Canadian Fire Underwriters Association\"
This unique piece of fire fighting history, has some paint loss and a small leak, overall in great pre-owned condition, wear is acceptable for its age. We did a quick wipe down with water, selling as shown in the pictures.\"
