This is a cup and saucer of French Haviland & Co Limoges hard paste porcelain extra fancy breakfast tea cup and saucer decorated in the Feu de Four process; the have a rim.
Both are gilded on the edge with a line of gold trim that has designs on it.
I believe the pattern is Flowers and Seeds, which shows a type of flowering poppy with leaves and stems. However this pattern is created with greens and browns, versus the more typical reds and browns.
You can view more Feu de Four in the book by Nora Travis, “Haviland China the Age of Elegance”, pages 40-41 and read about the kiln firing process. Production was limited, therefore scarcity today is quite high.
The cup has a diameter of 3.75” and the saucer ca 5.5”.
There are no chips, nicks, cracks or crazing. The gold trim shows minimal wear.
