This sale is for an excellent antique cast iron claw foot hand crank sewing machine manufactured by the Jones Sewing Machine Company In Manchester England in the late 1800\'s. This style is called a serpentine or catback design because of its unique sweeping top arm. There machine is stamped with the Jones logo as well as stamp for W. Triggs in Landport and the name \"Arcade\". The machine moves freely with a little sticking at the top of the cam movement when it rolls over. It has an excellent figural brass endplate. The original Jones bobbin is also included. As you can see, the gold leaf decals are very nice, although it has wear on some parts.Dimensions: 16\" x 8\" x 10\"Please use the pictures to determine the actual condition of the sewing machine as the photo\'s take precedence over any written desciption.This would make an excellent addition to any antique sewing machine collection.
