100% Original is the name of the game. Most items are presented in as found condition, uncleaned and most will clean up considerably as many are barn fresh or newly picked. I leave the cleaning up to the collectors. **My pictures are my descriptions**. I always try to ensure any creases, bends, rust, holes, etc. are present. Please feel free to request additional pictures or any other info you need to make a buying decision. Anything other than original period specific items will be labeled as such.
SHIPPING:
On orders with multiple items; I will make every attempt to combine shipping multiple items purchased into the same package when possible; helping to potentially save some of the overall cost on shipping. That said, inevitably a larger box and a heavier weight will add to the cost of the shipping. Go ahead and pay. I always refund any unused shipping funds between the items vs. actual shipping. The refund if possible, will show as a ‘shipping discount’. If you prefer, I’m happy to send an invoice for payment.
I usually lose money on shipping due to the materials used and their associated costs and lower than market rates charged and you will not be disappointed in the focus taken to protect these vintage items.
Foam board, Gorilla Tape, High Strength Packing Tape, Air Packs, Bubble wrap, Plastic and Paper wrap, and peanuts cost money; a lot of money. If you do not like my shipping prices, I’m probably not the seller for you. I don’t make money off of customers to ship items. I guarantee items arrive safely, dry. Preserving history. I take the utmost care and don’t skimp on materials. You benefit from my focus. Just read my response.
Please keep in mind changes in USPS rates for items over 30”, USPS automatically charges an additional $15, in addition to ever increasing rates. Additionally, USPS charges an extra $4 for anything over 15”. Again, I never make money on shipping due to costs of materials used, time spent and flat rate shipping used, below market.
Cans – paper wrap, bubble wrap, air bags, foam board
Signs – 1” Foam utilized for most signs, signs wrapped in paper and then plastic wrap for water protection in most cases depending on item materials. Signs will always be tucked in from the edges to prevent slices and will never appear at your door sticking out of the packing. I send items as I would expect to receive items.
Antiques – Bubble wrap, foam board etc
