Description:

This beautiful rare 19th century Chinese silk embroidery has a floral jacquard background in a lovely soft aqua teal color. There is a lovely hand embroidered area towards the bottom of the fabric with the embroidered motifs in flowers and butterflies in white, pink, coral, peach , creme, teal and dark blue. There is also a small woven border on three sides of the fabric.See photo for reference

Condition:

Very good- heavier weight silk
